1.  Self-management strategies for kids including:  externalizing and naming problem behaviors, repetitive quizzing, wants vs. needs

2.  Strategies for helping staff members to manage number one first.  Topics include: the need to check personal baggage at the door, managing self-esteem injuries, responding vs. reacting when support is lacking, maintaining proper affect control and using core strength-based verbal interventions as kids escalate, and redefining "success" with at-risk kids

3. Understanding and responding to cognitively-inflexible kids

4. Respectful, relationship-based behavior management and limit setting

5. Understanding and mitigating  "splitting" among the adults when dealing with kids at risk and their families
